We supply continuous lighting, HMI fixtures, LED panels, tungsten, Kino Flo, and complete grip support to feature films, commercials, music videos, broadcast productions, photography shoots, fashion editorials, and corporate events across Cyprus. HMI Lighting Rental

​

The daylight-balanced workhorses for sunny exteriors, big day-interior fills, and large-scale lighting setups. Our HMI inventory includes:

Most lighting hire shops in Cyprus stock consumer or prosumer fixtures. Kino Rentals carries the gear professional DPs ask for by name on commercial shoots. If you're shooting an Apple, Netflix, or Al Jazeera grade commercial in Cyprus, you can request specific fixtures by serial-number-level detail and we'll have it ready.

  • Half-day rental — 4-hour minimum, ideal for product photography and short commercial shoots

  • Full-day rental — standard 10-hour day, our most common package

  • Weekly rental — significant discount for productions running 4+ shoot days

  • Package bundles — discounted rates when you book camera + lighting + grip together

  • Full production packages — gear + crew + studio combined in one quote

All rentals include collection from our Limassol facility or same-day delivery across Cyprus. Equipment is fully insured for production use.

Delivery Across Cyprus

​

Same-day delivery is standard for Limassol bookings and free of charge within city limits. Delivery is available to:

  • Nicosia (1.5 hr travel)

  • Larnaca (45 min)

  • Paphos (1 hr)

  • Ayia Napa / Protaras (1.5 hr)

  • Troodos mountain locations

  • Remote filming locations (coordinated with logistics quote)

International productions can collect from our Epimitheos 6/7 Limassol facility directly.

Crew Available With Rental

Need someone to actually operate the kit? Our experienced production crew works regularly with our equipment:

  • Gaffers, best boys, sparks — for lighting-heavy productions

  • Camera operators, ACs — when you're renting cameras too

  • Sound recordists — boom op and mixer

  • Grip crew — key grip, swing grip, dolly grip

What's the minimum rental period?
Half-day (4 hours) for most lighting fixtures. Full-day for higher-value items like ARRI HMI and SkyPanels.

Do you deliver across Cyprus?
Yes. Free same-day delivery in Limassol. Standard delivery fees to Nicosia, Larnaca, Paphos and Ayia Napa.

Is the gear insured?
All equipment is fully insured for production use. Renters are responsible for damage/loss; we recommend production insurance for high-value bookings.

Can I rent lighting alone, without cameras or a studio?
Yes. Lighting, grip and sparks are bookable as standalone packages.

Do you offer crew with the lighting?
Yes — experienced gaffers, sparks, and grip teams available with equipment.

What if I need a specific fixture you don't list?
We cross-rent through trusted Cyprus and EU partners for specialised items (Maxi-Brutes, large generators, Vari-Lites, etc.). Send the wishlist and we'll quote.

Can I combine lighting rental with your studio?
Yes. Most productions booking the 650m² cyclorama studio also hire from Kino Rentals — bundled pricing applies.
